Dinner at the Fish Fry (thanks Grandma for paying!!)

Martha wished her hair was fixed & she had make-up on,
and we wished that Madi wasn't so squirmy,
but it's still a good picture

Why is it you can go all day and no one will bother you, but as soon as you try to give a baby a bath, the phone won't stop ringing?! Cheryl's family all ganged up and decided to call when we were getting Madilyn ready for her picture debut. We had to end up changing photographers, but we had "success" in getting them taken. The unfortunate part was that pictures came right at feeding time, so Madilyn didn't really want to be a happy girl and smile for the camera. Between mom, dad, and the photographer, we may have coaxed a few good ones out of her, though.

After pictures, we had a little visit at the bank with Grandma's co-workers, and then it was off to visit Ms. Martha for a while. She broke her ankle on a scuba diving trip, so her doctor wouldn't let her leave to come see Madi. It's a good thing we went to visit, though - Ms. Martha gave Madilyn her first camo jacket! Daddy's quote to Ms. Martha was, "I don't know you very well, but I like you already!"

All of that would have been enough action for Miss Madilyn, but Daddy, Mommy, & Grandma wanted to go to the Fish Fry for dinner. Grandma sometimes works there on the weekends for a little extra cash, so she had to show off her new grandbaby to everyone. Turns out Grandma didn't even order any food because she didn't want to put Madilyn down long enough. She just munched on the food that Mommy & Daddy didn't eat (Fish Fry always gives you more than you can possibly eat!)
