Grandpa had to steal one last look and kiss
before heading down to Tyler

Another lady from church made this nice bow for the door -
notice the added camo so that Daddy didn't just have a
"Pepto Bismol baby"!

Before everyone left, we had some picture posing time.
One of the ladies from church helped Cheryl's mom get
this stork set up in the yard to welcome us all to Paris!

As the saying goes, "birds of a feather, flock together"!
This is a position that Nana is known for
and Madi just joined right in

"Uncle Derald" as he affectionally called himself
sure is proud of that little Madi - just look at that face!

Her pretty little dress is one that Great Grandma Sprouse
got for her. Too bad she's all scrunched up!

Papa didn't get much of a chance to hold Madilyn
on Saturday, but they sure do look good together
on Sunday morning!

After Elyse was all dressed and ready for church,
she wanted another turn to hold Madilyn while she
waited and watched cartoons!

Aunt "Lorlei" sure didn't appreciate her picture being taken
early Sunday morning, but Mommy & Daddy sure did like her taking
care of Madi while they got ready for church :)

Mimi Johnson took Madilyn to church with her when she was first born, but this was the first day that Madi got to go to church with Mommy & Daddy. Of course everyone was very excited to see her! This was the church that Cheryl had grown up attending, and they had all been waiting and praying for Madilyn's arrival, so it was nice to have this moment with them. Derald Bulls, a close family friend, did the welcome announcement and had us stand up with Madilyn to welcome her. I think he was looking for a proud "Lion King" moment, but Madi was hungry at the time, so Scott stood up with her while he was feeding her a bottle at the same time : )

After church, we came back to the house where lunch had been prepared for all of the family by one of the ladies at church. It was such a yummy lasagna! After we ate, there was a little time for napping and cuddles with Madilyn, but then the Arkansas bunch had to get back on the road, and Grandpa had to drive to Tyler so that everyone could be back for work & school on Monday. It sure was a nice visit while it lasted, though!
