Eatting New Foods

Well, we started off letting Madilyn feed herself Gerber's little "stars" that dissolve in the baby's mouth. As you can tell, they're quite a hit in our house. Desperate times call for desperate measures, though. One day when Scott's family was over for dinner, Madilyn was not-so-politely letting us know that she wasn't too pleased with the rest of us continuing to eat while she was done with her food. In an effort to entertain her, Scott gave her his used corn cob. Needless to say, it was a hit! She LOVED the texture and the taste. She hasn't mastered it yet, but she's determined to figure out how she can fit an entire corn cob in her mouth one of these days!!
