The Halloween call

It's a girl!!!!!! For those of you who do not already know, it's been quite a busy week for the Savage family! Last Wednesday (Halloween) Scott and I got the call that we'd been waiting for - a birthmother had chosen us as the parents for her baby girl. What was not expected was that Madilyn (aka Madi) was born on October 3rd, so she was just waiting for us to come and pick her up! The delay in between the time that she was born and the time that we picked her up was due to the fact that the birthmother had not notified the agency of her intent to give her baby for adoption until she went into labor. Sooo...the next 3-4 weeks were spent getting the legalities all worked out.
